ABOUT ME
I completed my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a focus on Couples and Family Therapy at William James College. I began training as a therapist first at an adolescent partial hospitalization in Lowell, and next at a community clinic and school in Lynnfield. Since graduation, I have provided individual, group, couples and family therapy for children, teens, families, and adults. I have worked in a residential home for children, in a community-based and outpatient-counseling center, and currently in private practice.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (#1717).
I approach therapy as a collaboration between my clients and myself, and the relationship that we develop together is one of the tools that we can use throughout our meetings. My style is warm and interactive. In addition to asking questions, I also give and seek feedback, and I often use humor. My hope is that when you come here, you’ll feel heard, supported, and like you can be yourself. I value diversity and inclusion, and I welcome clients of all ages, races, sexual orientations, genders, and belief systems.

INDIVIDUAL, COUPLES, FAMILY AND GROUP COUNSELING
I am experienced in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness techniques, Psychodynamic Therapy, Family Systems and Motivational Interviewing. I will work collaboratively with you to establish the treatment approach that best serves your interests and needs.

My specialties include working with those who are experiencing anxiety, depression, issues within relationships, behavioral needs, trauma, stress management, self-esteem issues, and coping with life transitions.
